In the example photo of me wearing 3 necklaces the lengths are 18, 20, and 22,” with myt 5 charm pine trees necklace falling at 18”. Keep in mind I am long and tall (5’10) so they may fit another body type differently. 16” on me would be collar-bone length. I like wearing mine a little longer, but they look wonderful shorter! The choice is yours!
Each mark is individually hammered into this necklace from an Asheville Artist and Asheville small business owner, Courtney Haney who has 9 years of professional jewelry experience selling creating jewelry and selling outdoors in downtown Asheville at the Maker’s Market at the Grove Arcade.
Sterling silver will last forever and you may sleep and shower in this necklace. I recommend using a sterling silver polish cloth down the road to shine it up if it!
14k yellow gold fill is suitable for heirloom jewelry it is solid gold mechanically bonded to the base metal, and it is much higher quality than gold plated. These can be worn daily, and if you would like you can sleep, shower, and swim in these. Consistent chemical exposure is not recommended to ensure the longevity of these necklaces. To clean you may wash with mild soap and water and dry with a soft cloth.
Despite the dainty chain and small size of this necklace, they are durable. The jump rings on the back of the chain are soldiered shut.
Each piece I make is hand stamped with special metal stamping tools. I hammer each tiny mark and letter individually into these charms. Similar to handwriting, each letter or symbol will vary slightly in depth, spacing, and alignment. This results in each piece being unique.

If you are interested in a custom name necklace contact me! I can do names, dates, roman numerals, add letters onto the tiny oval shaped charms. I do not make the necklaces reversible. All custom orders sales are final.
Sizing details
All necklaces come on either an 18” chain or a 16” choker chain which will be specified in the item listing. If you would like a longer or shorter length please let me know.
